On of the most beautiful movies ever... possibly THE most beautiful movie.
I mean first of all there's Flynn Rider (Eugene Fizherbert)

Come on, if you are not absolutely in love with that you are not a woman. And if you're a man and say there's nothing special about Flynn, stop pretending. He is charming, cocky, sweet, and just plain sexy. There's no denying it. Nope. No. Nuh uh. Absolutely not. Eugene Fitzherbert is the man of everyone's dreams *tear*
Then there's the story. I personally never really knew the whole story of Rapunzel past the "let down your hair" bit. But in "Tangled" there was a single drop of sunlight that fell to Earth and grew into a golden flower. An old woman named Mother Gothel found it and discovered that it could restore her to a young and healthy body when she sang to it. On an island a few miles from where the flower was hidden there was a beautiful kingdom that was ruled by a king and his pregnant wife, who was sick and near death. The kingdom guards went on a search for this golden flower, which had not been properly hidden the last time Mother Gothel left it. They uprooted the flower and made a medicine from it that cured the queen. Soon after, she gave birth to a girl they named Rapunzel, who had golden hair, but Mother Gothel still wanted to posess the healing power. She snuck into the castle and sang to Rapunzel, whose hair glowed at her voice. Mother Gothel cut a strand of Rapunzel's hair to keep, but it turned brown and lost its power when it was cut. Therefore, Mother Gothel kidnapped Rapunzel and hid her away in a tower in the forest for almost eighteen years.
And beyond that you just have to see the movie because it is so wonderful. It stars Mandy Moore as Rapunzel and Zachary Levi as Flynn Rider, the music was by Alan Menken, and the animation is the most beautiful that I have ever seen. It's definitely worth the 10 bucks. Unless it's a different price somewhere else. Or it's gone everywhere... I definitely hope not, as I really want to see it for the fourth time... Please...
